Jamaica Blue, New Crown Jewel and More!

Hey friends! We've got so much going on, I don't know how to squeeze it all into one newsletter! We got 10 new coffees in this week just in time for your holiday roasting including Jamaica Blue Mountain Clydesdale, a new Crown Jewel from Uganda and so much more. We also go in brewers, kettles and manual grinders from Hario that make perfect gifts for every coffee geek! Let's do a quick dive and highlight just some of our favorite arrivals:

Jamaica Blue Mountain Clydesdale Estate

Jamaica Blue Mountain Clydesdale Estate: This is the real deal folks, the creme de la creme. Beware the "Jamaica Blue Blends" and other pretenders, this is the Board Certified, true blue (pun intended?) JBM. Jamaican Blue Mountain is a mild, subtle, gentle island coffee. This coffee defines smoothness. Outstanding balance and creamy milk chocolate tones. Look for additional subtle notes of maple syrup, red grape and rosewater.

Uganda Sipi Falls Kapkwai Natural Organic: Here we have our newest offering from Royal's Crown Jewel collection. Think top-shelf, best of the best coffees from this harvest season. This one's from the Sipi Falls mill of Uganda and it's been hand selected to give you the very best they have to offer. The strict selection process is evident by the incredibly even roasting beans and depth of flavor. It starts our intensely sweet and twisty as you would expect from a natural yet mellows and balances with more rest. With a rich body and velvety texture, expect notes of sweet red grape, peach, apricot, honey and vanilla.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Adado Washed Organic: If intense, funky natural coffees aren't really your jam or you just need a break from them, reach for this fully washed Yirgacheffe. Gentle and balanced, it's got a surprisingly big body and silky texture. And just because it's washed doesn't mean it's not flavorful! We noted herbaceous and floral notes throughout with bergamot, lemonade and a caramel undertone.

Bali Kintamani Natural Organic: If you love our Bali Blue Moon (just restocked btw!) then you'll love this coffee! It's from the same producers but it's natural processed instead of wet-hulled. Syrupy, slightly bright and very sweet, it's got a surprisingly clean finish for a natural! Look for notes of jammy strawberry, orange cream and cocoa powder.

India Arabidecool Estate: This is a super unique and fun coffee! While many folks expect the musty monsooned Malabar from India, this coffee is more similar to fully washed coffee from the Americas. It's more balanced than we expected with relatively low acidity and sweet/spicy notes. We thoroughly enjoyed the notes of coconut, caramel, nutmeg and star anise.

Ethiopia Sidama Natural Organic Water Decaf: Decaf enthusiasts rejoice! This premium coffee is hand selected to retain all the best flavors from Natural Processed Ethiopian coffee through the water decaffeination process and all the way into your cup. I finally have an excuse to not skip that afternoon cup that might keep me up at night! It's full bodied and creamy with savory earthy complexity and a spicy finish. Look for notes of black currant, blueberry, cocoa and cinnamon.

Hario

Finally, we are excited to announce that we now carry Hario products! We've got the classic v60 dripper in several colors and configurations, the Buono kettle in both stovetop version and electric as well as two manual grinders! These make perfect Holiday gifts for any coffee geek, just make sure to pick one up for yourself while you're at it!
