Our Review: This amazing coffee is sourced from a lot that the Royal Coffee team (this coffee's importer) has selected based on cupping evaluations. After selection, the green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffees particular flavor.
I've heard it said that Decaf coffee drinkers are the truest connoisseurs of the coffee world. That's because they get no caffeine or energy from the cup, they drink it purely for the flavor. Well decaf enthusiasts, have we got a coffee for you! This is one of those rare finds that I've cupped and can say honestly that if I didn't know any better, I'd have no clue this was a decaf. Full bodied and creamy, it's bursting with juicy black currant and jammy blueberry with a cocoa bent and spicy cinnamon finish. This coffee is complex, funky, twisty and downright fun. I officially no longer have an excuse for skipping my afternoon cup!
