Peru Norte Water Process Organic Decaf
Like most Peruvian coffees, this decaf is mild, gentle and easy going. But that doesn't mean it's boring! Well balanced and full-bodied, this one is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We like it as an everyday driver, especially as a cold brew in the afternoons. Look for notes of marzipan, toffee, granola and cocoa powder with silky-creamy texture and a fairly clean finish.
Reminder! This coffee is raw, you must roast it before brewing

We like this coffee right at Full City (Medium). It's pretty versatile and roasts evenly so you can experiment with the roast levels if you like. The flavor changes--more sweetness in lighter roasts and chocolate tones pick up and become increasingly darker chocolate as your roast progresses.
Royal Coffee - “DECAF PERU FTO NORTE ROYAL SELECT WATER PROCESS is curated from lots that the Royal team has selected based on cup profile, physical preparation, and potential to express excellently once decaffeinated. During the water process, the green coffee is pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The hydrated green coffee is then introduced to a unique solution of concentrated coffee solubles that draw out the caffeine while minimizing the loss of flavor compounds. Once the caffeine has been removed the green coffee is re-dried and re-bagged for transport, and the extract solution is filtered of its caffeine and recycled to be used again.
