We've got three different lots from the world renowned Othaya Farmer's Coop Society out of Nyeri County and they represent an excellent cross-section of the best Kenyan coffee has to offer!
Region: Othaya, Nyeri County, Kenya
Varietals: SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian
Roasting: We like these three coffees in the City+ to Full City range (light to medium). For the best comparison, try to roast both as closely to the same level as possible and remember that lighter (City+) roasts showcase unique origin characteristics the best.
Reminder: This coffee is raw, you must roast it before brewing!

We've had the great fortune to get three different offerings from the world renowned Othaya Farmer's Coop Society which beautifully showcase the best the region has to offer!
Kenya Nyeri Othaya Gura AA Double Washed: Our first pick of the season is a heavy hitting AA from the world-renowned Gura washing station in Nyeri Othaya. It's bold, complex and exotic with notes of plum, lime, cacao nibs and turmeric.
Kenya Nyeri Othaya Ichamama Red Cherry AB: A delightful find, this AB deserves all the recognition of an AA, just with a slightly smaller bean. The Red Cherry program ensures this lot has been meticulously sorted and processed to the highest standards. It's bright, balanced and sweet with a silky texture and a dry, floral finish. Look for notes of orange, cherry, jasmine and dark chocolate.
Kenya Nyeri Othaya Peaberry: This is our third coffee from Othaya Farmer’s Coop Society and we couldn’t be happier with their work. This is a blend of Peaberry beans from across their processing stations designed to accent brightness and florality. The flavors are exceptionally well balanced with notes of peach, pear and even sweet milk chocolate.
