Papua New Guinea Siane Chimbu Organic
This organic coffee from the Siane Organic Agriculture Cooperative (SOAC) packs a lot of flavor! It's got great body and gentle brightness with rich notes of toffee, orange zest, amaretto & cacao nibs. A perfect cup for drinking on Christmas morning.
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Papua New Guinea coffee at TCC and this one carries its weight around here. If you thought it was odd we’d pick a Grade B coffee, keep in mind that every country has a slightly different take on the coffee grading system. Papua New Guinea’s system refers simply to bean size and it doesn’t have any bearing on the quality of the bean. So, these coffee beans might be a little smaller than you’re used to, but they still pack a heckuva punch! We also like to highlight the Siane Organic Agriculture Cooperative (SOAC) and the great work they are doing for coffee farmers and their community. We always enjoy sharing good coffee that you can feel good about too.
As we mentioned before, this coffee packs a punch when it comes to flavor. Starting out with a full-bodied, rich cup and silky texture that’s reasonably balanced and ending with a clean finish. There’s a nice sweetness coming through from the toffee and amaretto notes, balanced with orange zest and cacao nibs. Does anyone else think this sounds like a perfect cup of Christmas morning? Me thinks so.
Reminder! This coffee is raw, you must roast it before brewing
