This lovely single farm offering from José Antonio García has all the zesty acidity and silky smooth texture we've come to expect from world class Costa Rican coffee. What makes it stand out from the rest is its warmth and depth of flavor. We tasted exceptionally balanced notes of peach, grapefruit, honey and cardamom.

Size :

Costa Rican coffee is world renowned for it's pleasantly crisp acidity which coffee has in spades. What we weren't expecting was the warmth and depth of flavor that followed that acidity! A welcome surprise to be sure. It's got a medium to full body and silky, smooth texture which make it perfect for an iced coffee, cold brew or iced americano if you happen to be blessed with an espresso machine. The flavor profile is exceptionally balanced and fairly sweet with notes of ripe peach, zesty grapefruit, honey, cocoa and just a hint of cardamom.

Reminder! This coffee is raw, you must roast it before brewing

We like this coffee best at City+ (light-medium) or near the end of 1st crack. However, it will show well anywhere from City to Full Medium (light to medium). City roasts pulled early in 1st crack will have tons of tangy grapefruit and orange zest acidity while roasts medium roasts between 1st and 2nd crack will be more subdued focusing on honey and cocoa tones.
