Most of you have wisely been taking advantage of our three tier flat rate shipping. We offer the following flat rate tiers to the Lower 48 states only:

1–20 pounds……$8.94
21–40 pounds…$14.94
41–60 pounds…$21.94

In addition, orders totaling $200 or more get free Shipping! That's free as in, no cost to you.

To keep our costs down, and to allow us to continue offering this highly discounted shipping, we need the flexibility of choosing either UPS Ground, FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, or Postal Service Priority Mail.

If you select our "Captain's Special Shipping", your order may come via any of these three methods at our discretion. Either way, you'll still get prompt service, and shipping notification.

For some of you, depending on where you live and the weight of your order, regular UPS Ground or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery may be less expensive than our Captain's Special flat rate offer, so take a close look during checkout. If you need Priority Mail, that option is also available (for coffee only-we don't ship roasters, grinders or brewers through the mail to the lower 48 states because of insurance hassles).

Alaska and other territories will need to select Priority Mail, but if you order a roaster, grinder, or brewer, please use regular Priority Mail, NOT Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, since those items won't fit in the flat rate boxes. If you accidentally select the flat rate box for any item other than coffee, we'll notify you of the actual charge for shipping and get your OK before we ship your order.

Note that Hawaii Department of Agriculture regulations prohibit us from shipping green coffee to Hawaii.
