January 15--We just got a new lot of Colombia Belen de Umbria Supremo. Classic American flavors, medium body and acidity. Sort of the "comfort food" of specialty coffee.

January 15--Just in: Bali Kintamani Organic (Naturally Processed). This is a dry processed version of Bali Blue Moon. We urge you to try both to see the tremendous impact different processing can have on the same coffee. Both great, both different!

Our Stimulating Shipping Special

Shipping costs in the last few months have soared. We understand that money is tight right now, and to help a little, we are offering flat rate shipping via UPS Ground. We call our special the "Captain's Flat Rate Special". Our charge is based on the total weight of your order. Here is the schedule:

1-19 pounds.......$8.94
20-39 pounds...$14.94
40-60 pounds...$21.94

For some of you, depending on where you live and the weight of what you order, regular UPS Ground may be less expensive, so take a close look during checkout. If you need Priority Mail, that option is available (for coffee only-we don't ship roasters, grinders or brewers through the mail to the lower 48 states because of insurance hassles).

Alaska and territories will need to select Priority Mail, but if you order a roaster, grinder, or brewer, regular Priority Mail charges will be added since those items won't fit in the flat rate boxes.

We have not decided how long we will continue this shipping special, but, considering the way shipping costs are rising, we can't continue it forever, so take advantage of it while you can.
