The Captain's Coffee Store exists only in cyberspace. We don't have a physical brick-and-mortar storefront. Home coffee roasting is such a sliver of a market it simply does not justify the expense of maintaining a walk-in store. So we are strictly an internet/mail order company.
We keep our coffee in a commercial warehouse in Greensboro, NC, and that warehouse does not allow public access, so you really can't "drop by". Our mailing address is a postal box we keep at a UPS store near our home for business mail.
Although this may be an inconvenience to some of you, our internet store is open 24/7. We do our best to reply to email promptly, and try to answer the phone or at least return messages as soon as we can, so we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Besides, keeping regular store hours sure sounds like real "work"!  |

Just so you'll know:
The Captain's Coffee is dedicated to spreading the joy of home coffee roasting. It's too good and too easy to keep it a secret. We won't sell a coffee that we don't personally drink and enjoy. We continually cup samples from a variety of sources to select and offer you what we think are the finest green coffees available. We will expand our offerings only when we encounter what is, in our opinion, an exceptional coffee. We hope you enjoy the coffee and home roasting as much as we do.
Return Policy:
Green Coffee
If you are unsatisfied with your green coffee purchase for any reason, we will issue you a refund. Since coffee is a food item, we can't take it back once it leaves our control. We will work closely with you to insure that you feel you got the quality you expected at a price that is fair. This offer is good for 90 days from the date of shipment.
Note that Hawaii Department of Agriculture regulations won't allow us to ship raw coffee to Hawaii.
Home Coffee Roasters
The Fresh Roast Plus 8, Gene Cafe, Behmor 1600 and the Hearthware iRoast are covered by a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer. The Fresh Roast Plus 8 roasting chamber is warranted for 6 months. Since the roasters are UL certified, the manufacturers ask that we refer all warranty issues directly to them. Although we do not directly provide repair service, we'll help you through the process to get your roaster back up and running. Should you return an unused roaster to us, we will refund your purchase minus the original shipping cost. Once you've used your roaster, we really can't take it back.
Other Items Offered by The Captain's Coffee
Any item not covered by a manufacturer's warranty is warranted by The Captain's Coffee to meet or exceed your expectations. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the item to The Captain's Coffee for a replacement or refund. This offer is good for 90 days from the date of shipment. If applicable, the manufacturer's warranty will supersede this warranty for items sold by The Captain's Coffee.
Privacy Policy
The Captain's Coffee will not share or expose any information about you to anyone. It's none of their business.
